Mets beat the Orioles 6-1
Mike Pelfrey started the game for the Mets, and got the win. here's the boxscore
NY Mets IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA
Pelfrey 5.0 7 1 1 0 1 0 1.29 (W1)
Feliciano 1.0 0 0 0 0 3 0 0.00
Smith 1.0 0 0 0 0 1 0 1.93
Schoeneweis 1.0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0.00
That might be a little hard to follow, but all you really need to know is that mets pitching was solid last night.. Feliciano and Schoeneweis keep up there perfect spring, and Joe Smith is on his way to making the 25 man roster.
Beltran: 1-3 with a homerun and 2 rbi
Anderson Hernandez:1-1 with 2 rbi
Jose Valentin: 1-2 1 tripple 1 rbi
Lastings Milledge:1-2 (Now batting .381)
Shawn Green: 0-3 (Now batting .163)
Good to see Beltran hit a homerun, he has been struggling this spring. Jose Valentin just keeps the great spring going... and again Shawn Green has another 0-, I don't see how it can be anymore clearer on who the starting RF should be.
~Pelfrey talked to reporters after the game, and asked about if he was throwing only fastballs Pelfrey said that he didn't have good control of his fastball last time out, and couldn't locate it. This time he had good location, and the fastball after fastball can be seen in the 7 hits in 5 innings.
(sorry it took so long for the post, basketball game last night)
